What is CFD

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a tool used to simulate airflow in a variety of circumstances including airflow in the nasal cavity.

Sinuflow CFD

Sinuflow uses CFD to study airflow characteristics, identify the causes of abnormalities in breathing parameters and perform simulated surgery to study the effect of anatomical changes on airflow. Our softwares are the same employed by NASA offering state of the art accuracy.

Our Innovation

Sinuflow uses a patent pending system to analyse nasal parameters in different sections of the nasal cavity. This enables localised obstruction to be identified. It is often the case that nasal obstruction can be the result of abnormal breathing parameters in some localised parts of the nasal cavity. In this case generalised parameters offer little insight.

Our Background

Sinuflow LTD, a pioneering start-up based in London, was founded in 2022 with a profound commitment to revolutionizing healthcare through computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and advanced engineering solutions. Our journey began with a passion for leveraging cutting-edge technology to make a significant impact in the medical field, particularly in diagnosing and treating nasal obstructions.

At the heart of Sinuflow LTD is our dedication to developing innovative technologies that bridge the gap between advanced computational models and practical patient care. Our efforts focus on enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of nasal obstruction diagnosis and treatment, which are critical to improving patient outcomes.

Innovation through Patent Protection

In 2022, we achieved a significant milestone by filing a provisional patent titled "Systems and Methods for Breathing Analysis" (U.S. Application Number 63353035). This patent encompasses a novel system designed to analyze airflow and geometrical parameters within the respiratory tract, offering unprecedented insights into the characteristics of respiratory airflow and potential obstructions.

The invention detailed in the patent facilitates a deeper understanding of the nasal cavity's complex structures by providing:

Enhanced Diagnostic Capabilities: Through precise measurements and visualizations of airflow and anatomical structures, our technology assists Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialists in accurately diagnosing conditions such as deviated septum, turbinate hypertrophy, and other common nasal obstructions.
Customized Treatment Plans: By identifying the specific locations and causes of nasal obstructions, our system enables healthcare providers to tailor treatments to individual patient needs, enhancing the effectiveness of interventions.

Mission

Our mission is to innovate patient and physician solutions through advanced CFD technology, striving to transform theoretical science into practical applications that enhance the healthcare industry's capabilities. We are committed to continuous research and development, ensuring that our solutions remain at the forefront of technological advancements in medical diagnostics.

At Sinuflow LTD, we are proud to stand at the intersection of technology and patient care, providing innovative solutions that pave the way for the future of medical diagnostics and treatment planning.
